Giggling @MyFitnessPal

Recommended Posts

Post-op I've continued to track my caloric intake with MyFitnessPal, primarily because I need to track my Protein so that I can ensure I'm meeting the 70g/day minimum my NUT set for me. I'm still giggling each night when I "complete" the day's entry - MFP tells me each night:

*Based on your total calories consumed for today, you are eating too few calories. Not only is it difficult to receive adequate nutrition at these calorie levels, but you could also be putting your body into starvation mode. Starvation mode lowers your metabolism and makes weight loss more difficult. We suggest increasing your calorie consumption to 1200 calories per day minimum.

Sorry MFP - it's just gonna have to be this way for awhile!

I giggle because I don't think I'd ever seen this warning prior to having my sleeve! At least, not consistently each day!

I am only 10 days out of surgery, and am already feeling great. I am already eating scrambled eggs without an issue, keeping down all of my fluids + more, and getting in all of my Protein. I am eating cottage cheese too. I have adjusted MFP profile to 1200 calories. I typically reach about 1000 a day if that.
