Fixerupper 335 Posted June 18, 2013 Mine didn't hurt. I didn't even know he was done removing it.
Oliver's Mom 258 Posted June 18, 2013 I too was nervous about having it removed......it didn't hurt at all. It does feel weird, like you have squiggly things in your belly but it only takes seconds to remove. I was THRILLED to have it out. Good luck
CarrieP 50 Posted June 18, 2013 Don't worry it doesn't hurt at all. Just feels weird. You'll be so happy when it's gone. Sent from my iPhone using VST
gummykandi 20 Posted June 18, 2013 Having a drain removed feels a little like sliding a shoelace through your closed fist. It doesn't hurt. It is noticeable. Good luck :-)

I was scared of the very same thing - I just "knew" it would hurt to have the staples and drain removed. It did not hurt at all. I can't even say it was 'uncomfortable'. Relax, it is NO big deal!!! sandyeggo 4 Posted June 18, 2013 I had mine removed while I was in the hospital. I wouldn't say it was painful, but it was a disgusting feeling. I felt like a squid was swimming through a small opening in my abdomen. Definitely not natural.
