Is Diet Snapple Decaf?

Recommended Posts

This may be a weird question (lol), but is Diet Snapple Decaf? I have a bunch of it here, and want to drink some. But, I know everything needs to be decaf, and I can't find anything on it saying if it is or isnt?

From about.com

Many Snapple Iced Tea varieties contain 42 mg of caffeine per bottle. Snapple flavors with 42 mg of caffeine include:

  • Cranberry Twist
  • Diet Lemon
  • Diet Peach
  • Diet Raspberry
  • Lemon
  • Mint
  • Peach
  • Raspberry
  • Very Cherry

Snapple's "Red Tea" line is made with rooibos and are naturally caffeine free. Snapple's Diet Green Teas contain 60 mg of caffeine per bottle, while their regular Green Teas contain 30 mg of caffeine per bottle and their White Teas contain less than one mg of caffeine per serving. (There are two exceptions to this -- Lime Green and Diet Lime Green both contain five mg of caffeine per serving, or ten mg of caffeine per bottle.) Snapple's Just Plain Unsweetened and Lemonade Iced Tea both contain 18 mg of caffeine per bottle.

Well...can't and shouldn't are definitely two different things. I didn't give up caffeine at all. I told my Dr. that it was non-negotiable. He gave in! :)

I've never had one. Are they really good? If so, what flavor(s) do you recommend?

I drank Diet Snapple tea as my beverage of choice right after surgery. I found it to be a lot sweeter than before surgery, so I watered it down by half with Water.< /p>

They gave me diet snapple while I was in the hospital with chicken broth. They brought me one for Breakfast lunch and dinner. Of course I was only able to drink half a bottle in 2 days. I tryed to tell the nurses to stop bringing them and they said your ins pays for it so stock up and take them home. So Im assuming its fine to drink. I love diet lemon.

I like the Snapple diet peach tea. The diet Lipton green tea with lemon is good too.

I think the diet snapple half & half (tea and lemonade) has less caffeine and is awesome! It takes me 2 days to drink it, so that shouldn't be enough to have any real effects.

Diet snapple lemon is my beverage of choice since I am no longer allowed fresca because of the carbonation (nor can I tolerate carbonation). I could not drink Water right after surgery and diet snapple literally prevented dehydration for me! I dilute it with water and ice so it does not taste too sweet. My doctor does not have prohibitions on caffeine.

I just had my sleeve surgery done on Dec 29th. One day in hospital and they gave me diet Snapple Peach Tea for every liquid meal including a diet cranberry juice! I'm home now and continuing what they gave me in the hospital. I can't wait for the pureed foods stage!

Diet Snapple Half & Half is one of my favorites. I drank that and a lot of Vitamin Water Zero with Benefiber added to it in the beginning and through goal. Come to think I haven't had a Snapple in a while. I guess I will add that to my grocery list this week.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
