need2bthin! 235 Posted June 17, 2013 I'm just curious how long it to everyone to get insurance approval? I just submitted mine and thanks to a fellow Sleever I will call to confirm it was submitted correctly!
FeeIsMe2 508 Posted June 17, 2013 I pretty sure it was like 2 or 3 days.
lsu2868 708 Posted June 17, 2013 It has been 2 weeks for me so far. I talked to the surgeons office friday and they showed insurance as pending. They were going to check with them today about it. Then, about an hour ago, I got a call from insurance wanting to verify some information and make sure I understand who is and who may not be in network as far as Dr, hospital etc. They will be calling me back this evening. Hopefully not much longer.

ewhitt 112 Posted June 19, 2013 I have Anthem. My doctor's office submitted it Friday before memorial day, and I called insurance to check the status on Tuesday afternoon and it was approved. I didn't have to wait on the insurance at all... it was the doctor's office that dragged their feet. But I'm scheduled now, so all is forgiven. 2 onedaycloser and Mocha-NJ reacted to this

melmel11 30 Posted July 23, 2013 I have BCBS and i called after about 36 hours just to make sure they "got it" and they approved right then over the phone. Was shocked at how quick considering the office coordinator told me it would be about 2 weeks!

schuylerberdan 0 Posted July 25, 2013 I submitted July 1st. I've really been given the run around between anthem and my surgeons office. I'm trying really hard to ignore the bumps along the way, but it isn't easy.
