For the past few days I have been missing meals and not eating very much because of hectic schedule. What I have notice is that when I do eat I seem to get full a lot quicker. Has anyone experience this?

This. Right. Here.

Y'all, we don't have the luxury of missing meals anymore. It has to be a priority (and yes I needed this scolding as much as y'all do).

Don is absolutely right. Now that we can't fit very much, you MUST make time to eat and drink especially as we approach the summer months. I wasn't eating like I was suppose to and when I went for a check up I had extremely low blood pressure. The doc attributed it to my lack of eating and drinking. When I say low, I mean the doc almost sent me to the hospital low.

You may be eating quick and not giving yourself enough time to eat. This happens to me when I eat too fast. I have a hectic job too so sometimes you have to slow down and eat slower. If this means working or for me typing while you eat then maybe you should try it. Make sure you get your nutrition. It's really important.

This happens to me. My colleagues have now gotten used to me eating during meetings, just because if I don't eat, I get dizzy. I have had too many situations where I have forgotten to eat, just through being so hectic, that I have become unwell with dizziness, lightheaded spells and nausea. So now I try and plan ahead, even set alarms on my phone to remind me to eat.

For those of us who came out of the surgery and just don't experience hunger very often anymore, this is something to prepare for.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
