LeahDane 3 Posted June 14, 2013 I get sleeved in 31 days!! It seems so far yet so close at the same time!! As the days tick closer I'm second guessing my choices at every turn. But then I immediately remind myself of the reasons why I want this. I've NEVER been so indecisive about anything in my whole life! Blah!! How do I shake this feeling off?? Don't shake it off, Kailie. Trust yourself. I see that you are an advanced member. That tells me you have been weighing the decision and preparing yourself for a while. It took me almost four years to first make the decision and get approved for surgery. When my surgery finally was scheduled, I had given up on it frankly. I second-guessed myself, too. I started at 408 #. It is life-changing... almost daily, I discover something different in my shape, even though the scale is giving it up grudgingly for the past two weeks. I came here and learned something from Diane C. who had DS surgery: "Also a very helpful article on stalls: http://www.dsfacts.c...or-plateau.html" Good luck. And, whoop whoop, you're almost there. 3 FeeIsMe2, sixbuttons and LiggleLiggle reacted to this

Bridget312001 70 Posted June 14, 2013 JProx is right, we were all there. I was thinking my last "what if" as they gave me the anesthesia before surgery.. Now I am 9 weeks out and couldn't be happier with how I feel and look.
Chelenka 827 Posted June 14, 2013 It is normal to feel anxious and question your decision. Even if you change your mind the day of surgery it's OK. Remember this is your body and you get to decide how you deal with it. If you aren't ready you can always move the surgery date and think about it some mire. Although I have been thrilled with my surgery results I would never push someone to go into this surgery unless they are truly ready to handle the enormous lifestyle change! pre-surgery weight 325; surgery date 2/28/2013; surgery weight 307; 8 weeks past-op weight 281.4; 12 weeks post-op 274 1 LeahDane reacted to this
