huligoo 75 Posted June 13, 2013 My surgery date is 6/26/13 I just started my pre op diet wednesday....I am diabetic on all sorts of meds...I feel faint and weak...and light headed... Veruca Salt 31 Posted June 13, 2013 Relax, don't over think the whole thing. The surgery is a breeze. As for your medical problems, that is all up to your doctor. I don't see any down side to increase your health. Most people say they would never change their decision. Once I went though it myself I must agree, wish I would have done it ealier. I never even thought of a surgery like this until my doctor suggested it,, it only took me a few days to decide this what I want and I never turned back. Thatguy 53 Posted June 13, 2013 hey i know how you feel, i kept asking myself if i was gonna make it, i can i really do liquids for 2 weeks will i really be happier if i make this change for myself i had my surgery about a week ago man i feel great no high blood pressure my edema and swollen has decrease the quality of life is just getting better and better everyday. I haven't taken metformin since surgery on 5/28 and my blood sugar has been consistently lower than 106 (and usually double digits).
