There was NO WAY I could have eaten regular food. No way what so ever. I think the farthest I went was one egg and three very small bites of cottage cheese all chewed to liquid consistency, and that was only because we went out to eat for Mothers Day.

The worst thing I did was lick the seasoning off of some wheat thins during week 2. But I must say' date=' those wheat thins were delicious. My sweet lab mix was happy to eat the evidence after I licked them.[/quote']

Omg, I so laughed at this...Thank you...it is like chewing and spitting out the food... (looks around guiltily)

AND we could have them earlier in the purée stage if we put them in a blender first, right?!!

I sucked the cream filling out of some twinkies....

....then stuffed a jalepeno sausage in them and ate it with relish.

Kidding....kidding.....I didn't have any relish, that would have been foolish.

I'm not sure what you mean by regular food. I'm 9 days post-op and have eaten some things that are pretty normal for me and that I would've had pre-op (yogurt' date=' popsicles, hummus, cream of Tomato Soup, etc.) If you're asking who has eaten things that their surgeon and doctors do not want them to eat, I'm sure there are people who slip and eat things they shouldn't. However, the guidelines are there for a reason, and I don't think anyone here is going to encourage doing things that may harm you. If you're struggling, I hope you'll figure out some ways to overcome your struggles, and you're able to make the most of your sleeve. Refuse to make a pattern of your mistakes and move on.

There are many people without insurance coverage or the ability to get financing that would feel privileged to have this surgery. Don't take your tool for granted. :)[/quote']

SPEAKING of taking advantage. ..I've been following my pre op diet and today I found out I don't have enough money to pay for my surgery. I just binged. I am short $1100.00. I was scheduled for June 24th. Very depressed right now. So I will need to reschedule later out. Must be some kind of sign....

Oh no! :( there's no way to finance?

I have not so great credit, I have to have a co-signer & the only person I asked was my mom and she said no. She's very negative about it and doesn't want me to have it done. The only other thing I can think of doing is a payday loan. And I'm not sure I want to do that and not sure what that entales. So, unless I win the lottery? I will have to push backy date. 8**(

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

      2. BlondePatriotInCDA

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
