Slipped bands

Question for dr. c or someone who knows about this stuff I have been vomiting alot so the doctor took out all my Fluid from my band and I am going to have a barium swallow to evaluate for a slip. so if I had a slip would I be able to tolerate solids know with the Water out of the band what I want to know I I had a slip would I still not be able to eat solids even with nothing in the band (water) and would I have pain if I did have a slip please help
