ploveda1 20 Posted June 13, 2013 I quit smoking about a month before my surgery and weight was going up quickly I mean 20 pounds in a month. Which is one of the reasons I believe I am a slow looser. Then a month ago I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism also contributing to being a slow looser. The odds were not good but despite it all as of today a little over 5 months out (drum roll) I am down 30 pounds!!!!!!!!!. Happy! Happy! Happy! Yes I am a slow loosing winner! 8 Ms skinniness, gummykandi, kari61 and 5 others reacted to this
