caitlinrose88 8 Posted June 13, 2013 I noticed recently that after urinating when I wipe there is a scant amount of a pinkish sort of color to the toilet paper. Has anyone noticed this or know what it may be from? I am not due a period for several weeks and I am not pregnant. I plan to ask my NUT, but am curious until then.. AussieLady 521 Posted June 13, 2013 Are you drinking a lot of Water? It could be dehydration or a urinary tract infection.
Chris R 217 Posted June 13, 2013 I agree - sounds like a possible UTI. Any pain when urinating? Difficulty doing so?
Luvlvnlyfe 0 Posted June 13, 2013 I have had the same issue but no pain or difficulty urinating. Guess I should call gyn.
LipstickLady 25,682 Posted June 13, 2013 It could be your period. I have an IUD so I shouldn't have one at all, but since I started my pre-op, I've had my period. It's light, but it's there. I've even "fondly" named her (AussieLady) just as I named my gall bladder before it came out (Joey), my brain tumor (Consuela) and my tummy (Charlie). My NP says this is normal with all the hormonal changes your body is going through. Just keep up your Iron and your tampon supply. Check the UTI thing out first, just in case, but it's likely that it's your monthly.

jensjoy28 351 Posted June 13, 2013 I think (in my non-medical, non-expert opinion) that it is tied in to your period...changes to women's cycles are VERY common after this procedure...combination of dramatic hormonal changes and fast weight loss. I have had the tinged t.p. for 4 days now...started a few days earlier than normal, but hasn't progressed to normal flow. Always good to check w the medical professionals, but I would bet dollars to donuts (hmmm...donuts) that you will just be joining the ranks of women for whom Aunt Flo becomes a women of mystery over the coming months :-)

AussieLady 521 Posted June 13, 2013 Aunt Aussie. Disliking you even more. I would change my name but then would probably be looking for a name for your diarrhea.
LipstickLady 25,682 Posted June 13, 2013 I would never name you after my water-poo. That's reserved for Mr.Lipstick.
