vegasneon 181 Posted June 11, 2013 I had surgery two weeks ago today (well technically yesterday but I'm a nightowl). I can't believe how tiny and good my incisions look. I was always a slow healer but I never took care of myself and I think 4 weeks of Vitamins have helped. When I started my pre-surgery diet 4 weeks ago I was 266.5 lbs. When I had surgery 2 weeks ago I was 257.5 lbs and today I was 245 lbs. So I lost 21.5 lbs in 4 weeks, 12.5 lbs in the 2 weeks post surgery. Funny I feel like this is going so slow but when I step back and figure it out I think I am doing pretty durn great! My best friend says my face is thinner, my DH says my tummy is smaller. I really don't think they can see a difference yet but I still appreciate the thoughts! My only complaint is I am still so darned tired! If I lose weight and I'm still so lethargic and tired all the time I am gonna be pissed! Then I will know something else is wrong with me. I always get all my Protein in but have not yet been able to drink anything near to 64 oz of Water or even liquid. Without trying to my calories seem to be alternate between 350 & 650. So there I am, Rebecca age 54, 245 lbs and very excited about this new way of life. Also I was excited that today I was exactly 100 lbs to my goal weight! So any day now I can say I have less than 100 lbs to lose! 2 CocoCocoon and Arts137 reacted to this

srs82781 83 Posted June 11, 2013 Amazing results so far Rebecca! And tired is normal!!! It slowly got better for me, by 6wks I felt like I had the energy of a kid! Which is good cause I need it to keep up with very active 2yr old! It will be amazing the energy you will have, give it time! I'm 3.5mos out and 60lbs down, ski for some people's standards but great for me. Keep up the good work!
AudOne 82 Posted June 11, 2013 Congrats! you are doing great, yes the tiredness was the worse for me but getting so much better at 4 wks out now...I really started to feel better once I was able to get enough Water in...it also seemed to help my weight loss...I'm at 20 pounds down since my surgery weight of 269.5 and just over 30 pounds overall...and I just got to 99 lbs to goal and am so happy! Good luck to you on your journey!
