I have the stomach flu for a couple of days, and while that sucked, it did make me think that a liquid diet would not be complete unbearable... On the other hand, it was 2 days, not 2 weeks pre/2 weeks post, but hey, I'll take support where I can get it! ;)

i hear you on that. i had a stomach flu a few months ago so bad i didnt really eat anything for like 4 or 5 days. i had no appetite at all. I actually think i am going to give the pre op diet a trial run just to see how my body reacts to it and deals with the hunger.
