DudeCar59 19 Posted June 10, 2013 I am 7 weeks out and exhausted by the amount of work that I'm putting in with my sleeve! Exhausted in a good way of course Just curious...how are you all rewarding yourself without using food? 2 Rinamatie and Tink22-sleeve reacted to this
NtvTxn 1,262 Posted June 10, 2013 I'm past rewarding myself at this point, but I loved going to the mall either to get something new, if needed, or just to window shop!!!! I still like trying things on just because I can. 5 dork, Shrinkingmom, kimbernada and 2 others reacted to this

Rinamatie 13 Posted June 10, 2013 Clothes, clothes and clothes! I like to buy something new that shows off the weight I have loss, not to say the clothes I was wearing before surgery is falling off me! I had surgery on March 18, 2013 and I have lost 60 lbs! 3 dork, DudeCar59 and NtvTxn reacted to this

dork 114 Posted June 10, 2013 I can't wait to buy smaller clothes. I've only lost about 20 so far in 2 weeks....I'll probably wear my summer clothes pretty much the rest of this year...but will re-emerge next year in nice new clothes 1 NtvTxn reacted to this
Sleeved&Fabulous 7 Posted June 10, 2013 I buy myself new smaller clothing as well. It also leads to more compliments on my weight-loss progress which keeps me motivated! I also buy myself some fashion jewelry/handbags. I'm obsessed with accessories and jewelry. 2 DudeCar59 and NtvTxn reacted to this
Ms.AntiBand 2,984 Posted June 10, 2013 Well.. If my ass ever gets to the 50lbs loss goal.. I will spend my $300 day spa gift card my boss got me for the occasion.

johnlatte 1,232 Posted June 11, 2013 My reward is just being more healthy and having a better outlook on life. There's nothing material that beats that. 2 DudeCar59 and NtvTxn reacted to this
kimbernada 190 Posted June 11, 2013 I've had tons of fun buying clothes at the thrift stores. One of places is super organized by size and color. I can zip in and fill up a cart of stuff in about 10 minutes... pants, shirts, jeans, shorts. It's way too expensive to buy brand new stuff during the huge weight loss stage. (Specifically casual business clothes.) Shoes, however, I don't buy used. I dropped from a size 11 to a 9-1/2. My bra size dropped from 48C to 40C - still a C-cup but I'm sure that will eventually drop. For NOW, I'm enjoying the girls. LOL (I mean, they look HUGE now that the tummy is smaller.) 2 momofjal and DudeCar59 reacted to this
kimbernada 190 Posted June 11, 2013 I guess one reward is that I switched to Clinique skincare. That stuff is amazing. My chiropractor keeps telling me how amazed he is that I didn't "age" with the weight loss. I think it's the Clinique working. 1 DudeCar59 reacted to this
DudeCar59 19 Posted June 11, 2013 YES! Why didn't I think of that- thrift stores?! Perfect. Love the idea of spending a little more money on beauty products too!
jensjoy28 351 Posted June 11, 2013 I have always been a big fan of relaxation/ pampering with mani/pedi and massage, but I plan to treat myself even more as I go through this process. But, one of the things I am rewarding myself with when I hit milestones is to buy a few personal trainer sessions...since I don't want to buy clothes yet, that one further supports the healthy new life and gets me out of workout ruts
