david cruz 0 Posted June 10, 2013 Hello everyone, I had my vsg surgery in May of this year. Im on phase 2 of the diet plan. I really am enjoying the weight loss, but im getting bored of this phase. Does anyone have ideas for preparing puree foods that arent to thick? My dr. Said it should be able to go through the prongs of a fork. Needing some ideas. BloomingFaith 29 Posted June 10, 2013 Can you just have anything (low carb, low sugar) and puree it in a blender and keep adding Water until the correct consistency? I'd get some yummy Soups and just puree the chunks. Congrats on your weight loss!!!! Are you hungry??
kchristian 64 Posted June 10, 2013 I'm a fan of refried Beans w/a small bit of shredded cheese, mashed potatoes, chicken salad (pureed), cream of chicken Soup, etc. I'm about to give eggs a try!

david cruz 0 Posted June 10, 2013 Kchristian, I havent tried refried Beans yet. Did try chicken salad. Also split pea Soup. My doc told me that at this stage my diet should be mostly shakes and Water. Puree food should be treated as a treat. Thats why i am bored with food. . I know it is a phase but seems like this is worst the being on a liquid diet. Lol
