Constrictive garments and getting busy ;-)

Recommended Posts

Figured the title would draw attention and confuse, haha. Here goes though. I always wear one of those Kimora shapers or Spanx and a pair of tummy flattening underwear wherever i go because of all the loose skin. Still have 50 pds to go before the surgeon who did my sleeve will consider removing loose skin. Getting to the point, when my fiance and I get into it at his place I always leave my top and spanx on just in case someone comes in. He is always trying to get to me underneath them. Any suggestions about other garments that I could wear or any kind of suggestions.

Have you tried an underbust corset? Kinda kinky and leaves the girls exposed. Then you can put on a light weight robe or open shirt tjen can quickly be thrown clossed if needed.

Also...lock the door. Lol. ;)

How cute I just read your "kinda thought" thread

(I like to know who I'm talking too) is this the same guy?

He lives in one of those shotgun style houses with roommates. If we were able to go to my place this would not be an issue or when I get a hotel room (I come up on Saturdays, I live 2 hours away). It's kinda a mood killer having to take off all that stuff and put my top or dress back on.

Yep, same guy. Though it looks like we'll be getting married next spring (money, uhh). He doesn't care about the loose skin but it still bugs the crap outta me and he doesn't complain about the body shapper, it's just kinda funny. He kinda looks like a cat at a scratching post.

...and that is one of the reasons you are so darn helpful to the forum members! But, it is true...the Spanx I've had have an "overlapping, open gusset" that technically would allow someone to go potty w/o needing to pull down (I however cannot vouch for if this works)

For the OP, how about a long skirt? You could take the undergarments off but still offer convenient...um...access while maintaining some modesty/ability to cover up. Is a little trickier to figure out something convenient for the top half (lest the girls feel left out)...maybe a big ol' Snuggy that you both could wrap up in.

I have to say, this is an interesting

Challenge!

An open gusset you say?? Well I learn something new everyday!! I've never worn shape wear (I should though) but hell I hate being constricted :P

Go to the Hips&Curves website. They have a NUMBER of beautiful corsets and crotchless panties/pantyhose..

I own several of the steel boned Jaquard corsets and they are really nice :) A bit pricey but with the ability to lace it up tighter it is going to last through a few sizes.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
