Museum-Mama 196 Posted June 9, 2013 I was sleeved on the 5th, and also had gallbladder removed and a hiatal hernia fixed. I was feeling great yesterday, it today I just want to SLEEP! Did any one else feel like this? I am not sure if it it's the pain meds, or that I started a heavy period yesterday, or just my body wanting to heal in general. Hard to get my liquids in when I'm snoring. Lol. I am still tryin got walk as weel, but can't get very far when I start to feel light headed and faint. Did anyone feel like this? No game 14,437 Posted June 9, 2013 I'm tired from reading everything you went through! I think I need a nap now! But really if you need to rest? Rest? Look at all the things that were just taken out of and done to your body! sleep, drink, walk and sleep 1 ElaineB reacted to this
Newcster 2 Posted June 9, 2013 It gets better - I was the same way for a few days. It gets better! First time I tried to work out I thought I would die, but I'm back to (almost) regular workouts now. Make sure you are getting enough Protein in - no fuel = no energy!
prayergirl 55 Posted June 9, 2013 The pre-surgery info I got said to expect this. So I wasn't too surprised when I started to feel tired from barely doing anything. I just listen to my body. If it says sleep (and it does a lot), I sleep. Even if only for half an hour. Your body has been though a lot. Listen to it.
dork 114 Posted June 10, 2013 I'm 10 days out today and this is the first day I have really been tired. The paper work I was given said to expect this...but I thought it was the first week and not the 2nd. Having problems getting in all of my liquids.< /p>
Museum-Mama 196 Posted June 10, 2013 Thanks all. None of my paper work said anything about being tired. When I'm awake, I get liquids in pretty good. I guess body knows best! :-)
Djstola 26 Posted June 10, 2013 I was tired for several weeks, but I had a UTI, then for about a week from antibiotics and then lactose intolerance. It took me a long time to recover. I personally feel that less energy (calories) in equals lass energy to use. My shakes were only 100 calories.
