Unflavored protein guidelines?

Is there a rule or guideline on how much unflavored Protein you can put into something without changing the taste or consistency ? Example, I had about a 1/2 cup of yogurt after my dinner. I thought about adding Protein to see how it tastes (I'm pre-op) but I chickened out. I'd be interested in hearing your powder to liquid ratios. Thanks!

I have been adding about a half a scoop to things like cream Soups, hummus, mashed potatoes and oatmeal approx 1/4 to 1/2 cup. I have tried it in crystal light and it leaves a funny taste. I am 3 weeks out. Good luck!
