Question - I have been on Cymbalta for a long time and all that time I was fat. Now that I have lost 100lbs, should I be thinking about reducing my Cymbalta dosage? Anyone with any experience with this?

I have been taking Lexapro for years. Since my band and then revision I have went from 206 to 147. I have not reduced mine. I think they deal with the Seratonin levels. Check with your Dr. if your not sure but I have been fine on the same dose.

I recommend talking to your doctor. I take an antidepressant as well and I don't like to make changes without consulting my psychiatrist. I'm also a mental health counselor and that is the same advice that I would give to my patients :)

Thanks for the input. Of course I will talk to my doc, but was just curious? Would love to cut back on all meds and it would stand to reason that less weight would take smaller doses, but maybe not.

        Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive).
