So June 18 Is my one year anniversary. Need to lose five more pounds to meet my one year goal of losing 100 pounds. Down 95 pounds from 345 to 249.8 .

I have no troubles eating anything sometimes I feel like I can eat to much. Of course anything bad goes down very easily. The surgery was just a tool is still a lot of hard work and my metabolism is so slow it's taking me forever to lose this weight. But I feel I will make my goal however long it takes.

I've been getting dizzy spells or almost blacking out spells this past week. Once while driving that was scary I get hot flushed jitters shaky nauseated and have to lay down. Takes about 15 minutes for it to pass. I've read other posts that this has happened to other people about a year out I think it's hypo glycemic attack. Did go to the doctors and they did test my glucose level was On the low range of normal. I don't have diabetes and it doesn't run in my family. Waiting for the thyroid tests and a few other tests to see if that'll determine anything. Cut out coffee hoping that might be the culprit as I read that has helped others. Anyone else with almost blacking out spells?

I have no regrets, Love shopping love being more active bought a bike first time riding in 20 years. Hope next summer I'll be down to goal weight and skinny mini.

Are you getting all of your fluids? That might be one cause. I would, also, keep some kind of Protein with me when you start feeling like this. Maybe a Protein Shake or beef Jerky, something that you can eat quickly. When I was working, I used to get like that when I hadn't eaten in 5 or 6 hours. Maybe keep a journal for awhile with what times you eat and when you feel like this. Maybe there is a pattern or connection. It's worth a try. Congrats on the weight loss. It's a hard thing to do, even with the sleeve! Keep up the good work!

WooHoo WooHoo

95 lbs weight loss :)

terrific job

glad you are checking things out with the doc - working on your dizziness et al

hope that works out :)

we're both in the same boat (don't think we'll sink now!! )

i also can eat anything i want - and COULD eat a teeny bit too much - but i don't

tummy would hurt too much - don't go there

like you/we all know - the sleeve is here to help us lose weight and maintain, we've gotta do the mental stuff,

know what and when we're supposed to eat

you are gonna continue to do just fine :)

hope things calm down with your health situation and you feel better soon

keep up the good job/work

happy "almost" one year surgiversary :)

for the rest of your healthier, happier, longer life :)

kathy

congrats

Congrats! Awesome! I agree with logging your food and fluids & showing your dr & nut as someone suggested above.

First off, congrats--wishing you continued success on this TOUGH journey.

I found that my dizzy spells were the result of dehydration and hypotension. My doc suggested that I carry little packets of salt and of course, drink plenty of water-which I'm bad at.
