docbree 199 Posted June 7, 2013 Hi all - I am still pre-op, and one of my greatest concerns is becoming wheelchair bound from my RA if I can't take NSAIDs. I would love to hear from others with this or similar conditions, and perhaps start a support group,
Ballermom 803 Posted June 7, 2013 I don't have rheumatoid arthritis but I do have osteoarthritis and I can tell you I have felt better and i have not even had to be on meds consistently. A near total change. I have not had one flare up with my knees since surgey. Only had to take my Celebrex once. In months! With the weight loss you should feel way better. enigmachik 403 Posted June 7, 2013 My doctor has approved me to take NSAIDS as long as I don't take them on an empty stomach and as long as I only take them once in awhile.
