Louise, very informative.

Ill just out myself here as the worst wife ever because I will NOT ever do this again. I don't even like swallowing my own phlegm. And it tastes better.

Shudder*

Swallowing doesn't hurt my sleeve but I have stopped swallowing recently because the last couple times I did it I got a sore throat that lasted days idk if it is something in my hubs diet or what? I just let him decorate my boobs with it now and he is happy :)

Watch out for HPV, seems theres a rise in mouth and throat cancers due to more people having oral sex. If your not married and having multiple partners please use protection.

My boyfriend tried to tell me if he ate a lot of pineapple then it would be sweeter.

I told him I wasn't that desperate for Protein..he also likes the boob shots lol

Haha mine too (about the boob shots)...I had to be careful of my incisions the first week or 2.

It is true! pineapple is the best thing for improving the taste of ejaculate!

The worst - its a tie between asparagus and beer. You don't want to be blowing a guy who drinks too much beer. That **** makes it bitter. As for asparagus? Wow. Just need to smell our own pee after eating that stuff to know it has an impact!

Okay ladies! I'm going to try and keep this as clean as I can but its a sex thing so it's definitely adult content!

Have any of you had issues with "swallowing" since being sleeved? I went down on my new guy tonight and my sleeve was KILLING me after! I felt like I had eaten too much too fast and then chugged a bunch of Water within 5 minutes. It's starting to go away now but it's a few hours later and it's still really uncomfortable.... I hadn't eaten before of anything so my sleeve was empty.

I'm almost 4 months out... Why does it hurt so bad???? Am I never going to be able to "swallow" again??? *panicked face*!! Help !!!

I mean' date=' It's not like you can portion it ;p[/quote']

Lol..at least you're getting in your Protein. :)

This might be the one occasion where 'chew and spit' is okay.

Squeeeeee for an excuse, ahem, REASON not to try to swallow, fail and gag ...

Not that such a thing has EVER happened to me. Ha.

Poor dear husband. I will never swallow again after August 27!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
