Are we all hiding out here?

I just left a google of Biblical Verses for Ron to justify. Why don't you guys look in on him while I watch "24".

Oh geez TOM, I did all the damage I could do for one day. Haven't gone there yet this AM. Was planning to avoid the whole thing today. Now you've gone and made me curious. :heh:

Although I am still reading avidly I am not contributing much at this moment. I am more interested in watching the Christians duke it out amongst themselves. I am sure that I will be jumping back in at some point.

I did appreciate your choice of verses, TOM.

TOM: That other is all your fault. You gave me the strength.

Green: You did very well on your own! I loved your post about the value of R & R at LBT. And participating is a valuable learning experience for me too. Even if I take some lumps from time to time.

TBSue: You did awesome as well. I had a feeling you were holding back a little. I have too. I didn't at first because I was so angry, but then I realized that I was the one everyone was loving to hate. Changed my tune and now I'm having more fun.

Sometimes I was, and sometimes I jsut felt like the ignorance was beneath the time it would take me to notice it, ya know? Like I said, though, some of that crap got me so p/o'd that I couldn't type fast enough to keep up with my thoughts, and I would fubar it all up...and I most definately didn't want the typos to mar the argument.

Well nobody else was worrying about typos. Were they? Some of them were pretty amazing and gleaning the true meaning was difficult.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
