itslana_ 17 Posted June 7, 2013 How long do you think I should take my time off? I hear a lot of people go back to work in a few days after I'm curious !!
Mystie 146 Posted June 7, 2013 I took two weeks. I could have gone less, but what the hell, I had enough sick time.
Prettynpink1982 103 Posted June 7, 2013 I It was originally going to take One week off but the surgeon suggested two weeks... Some people go back after one week and some take the whole month or so off.. It really depends on how you heal and how you feel
DonRodolfo 1,416 Posted June 7, 2013 How long do you think I should take my time off? I hear a lot of people go back to work in a few days after I'm curious !! I was sleeved last Tuesday and felt good enough to go back to work the following Monday. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't enjoying these two weeks off! 2 Rox and natedog51 reacted to this
TapSnap 357 Posted June 7, 2013 I took a month off work. I do a lot of climbing and lifting at work so my doctor wanted me to take more time then normal off. 1 Rox reacted to this

kczar 166 Posted June 7, 2013 I work in an office so I took a week off. Well, I worked from home. If you do move around a lot, two weeks may be better. However, you can have some extra pain two to three weeks after surgery when you start moving around more because you're pulling on the stitches.
