Not really, but today after 3 weeks of Protein Shakes, plus pre-op diet I was released to the pureed phase. So, of course on my way back to work, I stopped by the store and got some cottage cheese and greek yoghurt to put in my refrigerator so I will be able to enjoy my next phase.

Of course, I looked at what I could have, but not the serving size. Well, I ate an entire 4 oz container of cottage cheese. It went down well, and it took me about 20 minutes to eat it.

Once I read my little sheet from the nutritionist, which said my serving size was 1 1/2 ounces I felt like the guy on the KFC commercial....I ate the bones, OMG, I ate the bones!

That was the bad news, the good news is that from my first visit, until 2 weeks post op, I have lost 43 pounds and the nutritionist said that I am 2 months ahead of schedule :D

Funny comment! Good that you are tracking and making corrections early on for long term success. We will all draw outside the line once in a while. And best to not white knuckle this process but endorse yourself for learning how to treat your self the right way by learning as much as possible.

I know the feeling...I'm also at 3 weeks and WAY past the point where 1-1/2 oz is gonna cut it.

You might not feel restriction yet on purée. Best to weigh and measure. But I'm sure you are fine. Don't feel bad. ::

Heh.. Just don't try this with Protein or you're sleeve will protest BIG time. Slider food stage is easy to abuse so track it so you can continue to lose. Oh.. And I love the blk cherry chobani mixed with pineapple cottage cheese.. YUM!
