hfdwife0608 4 Posted June 6, 2013 I am going into week 2 and I'm still having this pain in my chest every time I stand or am talking or even drinking.. It tightens up real hard for a couple of seconds and then stops... I swear it feels like a heart attack... It's not my stomach either... It's my chest...(above my boobs)... I am running out of options. I walk... I sip... I take my gas meds... Help!!

Chelenka 827 Posted June 6, 2013 I think it is your new, tiny stomach you are feeling. I had that too for about a month. There is still a lot of swelling which is why it hurts. pre-surgery weight 325; surgery date 2/28/2013; surgery weight 307; 8 weeks past-op weight 281.4; 12 weeks post-op

It'sNowOrNever 100 Posted June 6, 2013 The pain in my chest ended up being gall bladder attacks. Surgery scheduled for next week.
luckysmomma 407 Posted June 6, 2013 It is your new normal possibly, or it could go away in time. I am 12 weeks out & experience it still. If it persists, please contact your doctor. Sipping and slowing down helps. It does get easier & better, but that certain discomfort hasn't left me yet. Walking or laying down helps me with it. Everybody's different, though. Best of luck to you!
