LipstickLady 25,682 Posted June 5, 2013 Are you eating that pudding I told you to make? Don't make me open a can of whoop ass! I can't do it! It will not go down. I am going back to a Protein drink for Breakfast and I'm choking down a Greek yogurt now. It's not by choice, trust me.
MystiGal 143 Posted June 5, 2013 The first thing I asked for was some Water, because I had cotton mouth so bad. They gave me ice chips and I was fine. I didn't think about any kind of food until probably day 6 post op.
Ms.AntiBand 2,984 Posted June 5, 2013 Fortunately I'm still not hungry. Almost 6 months out and it's only occasionally when I smell a good food that I get hungry. My lack of eating is probably a huge factor in my level of weigh loss. I find that ok since I'm not wanting to be interested in eating other to stay healthy. 1 MystiGal reacted to this
Michellemo 161 Posted June 5, 2013 I woke up dying of thirst and hunger. I can't figure out how a stomach that's just been cut apart could want food? I do get hungry at 9 months out but it still only takes a very small amount to fill me up. I've lost 140 lbs in 9 months so I don't think it matters if you wake up hungry. 1 Ms.AntiBand reacted to this
FeeIsMe2 508 Posted June 5, 2013 I can't do it! It will not go down. I am going back to a Protein drink for Breakfast and I'm choking down a Greek yogurt now. It's not by choice, trust me. I can truly understand that... I first tried adding Protein powder to the Greek yogurt post-op, then I tried to eat without the Protein Powder, either way I was gagging as I put it in my mouth. I just couldn't do it.
wcn1970 239 Posted June 5, 2013 Couldn't have eaten a thing and the thought made me ill. All I wanted were ice chips.< /p>
