SleeveNZ 219 Posted June 5, 2013 Smashed out a 3 minute prone hold today! NSV for sure 3 months ago I couldnt prone longer than 30 seconds! Fiddleman 4,376 Posted June 8, 2013 That is really awesome. I have not heard of he term prone hold so had to google it. Now I see it is another term for plank position. You know you just completed an exercise that most healthy adults cannot do more than 30 seconds of. That's right!!! You did 10 x better!! Oliver's Mom 258 Posted June 8, 2013 Congrats!!! My trainer says that the plank (prone hold) is the very best exercise for your abs, and without putting your back at risk like crunches can! I look forward to the day I can hold for that long- I have a shoulder issue that I'm doing PT for right now and can only hold for 60-75 seconds.
