laurenthomp93 5 Posted June 4, 2013 I cannot believe it. After so much anxiety and worrying about being denied I was approved for surgery. When I got that call just a little bit ago, my heart practically stopped. The reality that I will no longer be so overweight hit me. I started breaking down. I have been overweight my whole life and I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. Being 19, I was worried they thought I was too young and not yet mature enough. I just feel extremely lucky, I get the opportunity to change my life around and set my future on the right path. I almost feel at ease, everything will be alright.
