Wags 549 Posted June 4, 2013 Alaina25, I have a question, did you feel a little regret right after surgery? I just had mine 4 days ago and for the first day or two, I was like ... What the heck did I do?

lexi6510 56 Posted June 4, 2013 Start: 188 Now: 155 Height: 5'2 I figured you were smaller. I have friends that had the surgery and lost so much in the first week and month. I'm losing slower but my weight was less.

What the heck did I do?[/quote'] Hell yes I felt regret!! I felt like total **** for the first month. I ended up having to stay in the hospital an extra 5 days because the daily medication I was taking ended up making me nauseous. My boyfriend is a critical care R.N., and is also very good friends with my surgeon and I was told not to expect to feel well for about the first month which is totally true. I had a major meltdown about 4 days out and thought I made a huge mistake but there was no turning back. I can assure you it gets better so hang in there. Wags 549 Posted June 4, 2013 Oh my gosh! That was a terrible experience! And yet here you are 7 weeks out and you have no regrets. Honestly, this is one of the best posts I have read - for me personally. I had lost 10 pounds in my 2 week pre-op diet and was excited to get that jump start. Now 4 days post-op, I have gained most of that back and I'm still on my clear liquid phase. I felt like *** for the first few days and feel better now. But your post gives me hope that you can have a rough start and still end up having no regrets later. Thank you SO much for sharing!!! 1 alaina25 reacted to this
