I buy mine at Land's End and I also have a Miracle Suit!

Get a suit that is made for lap swimming so the straps won't keep sliding off. Check out swimsuitsforall.com - they have reasonably priced swimwear.

I just saw some nice suits at TJ Maxx (I think up to size 24) yesterday. Some of them would have been good for pool exercise, with wide straps and higher backs and fronts. Unfortunately, I like to get suits with underwire and these were all soft cup. But they were around $25 for really good quality suits.

I do Water aerobics 4 times a week. I am also um..blessed in the "girls" region. So get a swimsuit that will hold the girls under control so you can move around etc. Also if you can find a swimsuit that will stand up to Chlorine that would be good too.

I have bought both mine at Land's end. They are a bit pricey so I bought the next smallest size and just squeeze my butt into it :P

One piece because the Water makes the tankini top balloon out and the skirts are very dripping getting out!! Nobody really cares though so what is comfortable with boob support so you don't bounce out????

Thanks I got a speedo which is funny to me because it makes me look athletic - and I have NEVER looked athletic.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
