My doc suggested I should move Foward on my diet I had my surg on may 20 and have done very good so far I would like to eat some watermelon any suggestions

have a very small piece. I had a little issue with is because of the sugar I think. But after a few bites it was ok.

I had my sleeve 4/30 i had some nausea and dehydration problems...so i was a little behind in moving forward...i was wondering about watermelon to... Today it was 96• I ran to the store they have 1 lb container of fresh cubed watermelon they were so refreshing to snack on throughout the day.. Very hydrating!

I can't wait to eat some really good summer watermelon after I'm sleeved. I've always heard it was a diuretic, though--should I be worried when I'm post op? I don't want to lose more Fluid than I put in! From what I hear, it's tough to get enough fluids in during those early days.

It's a mild diuretic, over 90% Water and 6% sugar. Hope that helps!
