I'm two years out. I've felt a pretty normal full for so long I can't remember when it changed. Not that painful, I'm gonna puke feeling I got too easily at first, but just an feeling of being full. One that I had to eat a lot to get to pre-op. I think my poor stomach was stretched to the size of a basketball.

Very normal. It took me until the third week to just start feeling normal. I also realized the not satisfied feeling had more to do with flavor and all the sweet or fake sweet of the early part of the diet.

I am almost 4 months post op and I started feeling full at about 6 weeks after surgery. Before that, full felt like something was stuck in my throat and needs to come back up. I imagine you will get the full feeling o once you are better healed. Hang in there!

Does it feel closer to normal than 1 week out?

Had a sleeve in 2017, lost over 100 pounds. Had a DS surgery this year (2025) for more sustainable weight loss. 🤞

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
