Malice X Girl 0 Posted December 20, 2006 What are the do's and don'ts? I want to tone up, yet at the same time I don't want to hurt the band.
Jimboss 0 Posted December 20, 2006 I have the same questions. I am working on the treadmill regularly and have notice legs/butt toning up, but what to do for the belly! Sit ups are out of the question right now. I can't even do one!
Jachut 487 Posted December 20, 2006 You wont hurt the band once you're healed up from surgery. I find more pilates based core stuff more effective than a gazillion poorly done crunches personally. Planks, OW and boy are they effective! Just doing lots of running has strengthened my tummy up a lot too.
Bostongurl 0 Posted December 20, 2006 It was months before I could do sit-ups. Without doing any my port was very soar for months after surgery, so I didn't want to agrivate it any more with sit-ups. But for the last month or so, I've been trying to do ab work-outs regularly, and I can def. feel a difference. Once this tummy fat is gone, I should have a nice firm tummy under there...
