Sorry before had but I do need to vent.

I have been noticing a 1 lb weight gain almost daily.. I eat right I walk. I drink a lot of Water. I take my Vitamins. I did move to the purred stage. I'm 3 weeks out. My protien isn't that high but its ok. The only thing I can think of is I'm super late on my monthly friend. But that doesn't really get to me cause I've never been regular. Sssso why? What am I doind wrong? The only good thing of all this is that my clothing fits bigger way bigger. So why does the scale go up.

Needed to vent..

First: Stop weighing yourself daily. Weigh yourself only once a week. It's probably just Water weight, but it's not doing anything for your self esteem and motivation. It's tempting to want to see progress constantly but it's not always helpful. Use your clothes as your measurement of success. If they start falling off, you're losing or shifting things despite whatever the scale says.

My advice it to weigh in only once a MONTH.....you body is gonna go through LOTS of changes, dont drive yourself crazy with weighing to often, if you must maybe twice a Month NO MORE...Just my thoughts.....Good Luck! and YOU will LOSE weight if you follow the plan, No dout.

You're not doing anything wrong. Your body is just adjusting to the new conditions. I regularly gain weight or stay at a weight for weeks at a time. Then, WHOOSH, I'll be down a pound or four almost overnight. For example: I was at 284 two weeks ago, went as high as 289 - last Monday, 284 last night, now it's Thursday and I'm at 280 (I had to reset the scales 3 times, just to make myself believe the scale was weighing me right!) - go figure?????????

Hang in there and let your body do its thing.

Keep Pimpin that Sleeve!

Not to mention the well documented "Week 3 stall" (use the search box in the top right hand corner of this forum). And your shifting hormones not only during your time of the month (TOM), but also during rapid weight loss.

Patience! And as others have said, don't weigh yourself every day. If you must (because you can't help yourself), then take the results "in stride". Daily fluctuations are normal. A stall is normal. Water weight increase is normal.

Your overall trend (if you stay "on plan") will be down. Guaranteed.

I only weigh at my Dr. visits. I like big numbers so I don't even own a set of scales.< /p>

My NUT had advised me to only weigh in once per week, and from a motivation/psychological side, I believe that was good advice...however, I have not followed it--I am too compulsive and still weighing myself each morning...what I am trying to do, though, is take it in stride and not stress over a little gain or a stall...if it does start stressing or de-motivating me, I will do as my NUT had suggested and give/throw away my home scale

The weigh loss is quite rapid in the beginning. I'm eight weeks out and I just vowed to weigh myself once a week now. I'm sure that will eventually change as well. I tell myself that there is no way I can't lose weight. I'm getting in 500-700 calories a day and exercising daily so if the scale doesn't want to move that's ok because I can tell my pants are.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

      2. BlondePatriotInCDA

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
