thetattooedlady 114 Posted May 30, 2013 I have this same problem....so I decided I am going to focus on small goals. I would love to be under 300 pounds. I want to wear a size 18...instead of focusing on the massive amount of weight I need to lose.

PainInTheGlass 50 Posted May 30, 2013 When the psych asked me about my weight goals, here's what I told him: My goal for tomorrow is to weigh one less pound than today and if I lose that pound, my goal for tomorrow is to weigh one less pound than today. And if I don't manage to lose that pound, you might have guessed---my goal is to weigh one less pound than today. It may be a small goal, but it's VERY achievable. All of those single pounds add up to an amazing amount over a year! Granted, you won't lose a pound EVERY day but you can keep that one pound goal in sight! To some this might seem like the horse chasing a dangling carrot that it can never get--but to me it's a series of obtainable goals. 2 Arts137 and thesmilos reacted to this
