AmandaRaeLeo 2,146 Posted May 30, 2013 I ate something heavy and I ate it fast. Needless to say, my stomach rejected it and I threw up. I've noticed there are small traces of red, blood I'm assuming, in the exiting contents of my stomach. Should I be alarmed? I have an email out to my surgeon but I wanted some feedback from here as well. I'm 9 weeks postop.
lsereno 2,525 Posted May 30, 2013 Hi Amanda, I suggest reposting in another forum, maybe the POST-Operation Gastric Sleeve Surgery (VSG) Questions & Answers, because this one is for vet issues and it might get overlooked. I don't have an answer for you. Hope your Dr. gets back to you soon. Lynda
AmandaRaeLeo 2,146 Posted May 30, 2013 My doc got back to me very quickly. Since my vomiting is a result of my actions and the fact that I am, and always have been, a very violent puker that it is the force of me vomiting. Very possible. I have no symptoms of anything else. I need to slow the heck down. 1 Houston17 reacted to this

feedyoureye 3,087 Posted June 1, 2013 Slowing the heck down is your answer. You don't want any leaks at this point and I does take MONTHS for the tummy to completely heal... like maybe 6 months....
Ms skinniness 3,003 Posted June 3, 2013 Perhaps u need to be eating soft foods right now so that your stomach can heal and why rush through your food? Take a couple of minutes between bites and savor every bite you take, after all, we can only get a few bites in. Oh and eat a little less too.
