dimples4u 13 Posted May 29, 2013 I have received a letter from BCBS and the doctor office saying I have been approved for surgery. I have left several messages for the nurse to give me an update but, she will not return my calls. She is the surgeons right hand man and every time I call the staff fwd me to her voicemail. HatheryOnHerWay 603 Posted May 29, 2013 Agh, waiting for return phone calls is the worst! Did you tell the staff that she's not returning your calls and you would like to speak to someone else? Dannipo 86 Posted May 29, 2013 I would ask if she is in the office, then when they transfer leave a nice message with all you contact numbers(also letting them know what number(s) it okay to leave a message on). The I would wait a day and a half for a call back if no response, I would call back to see if someone is assisting her on scheduling because you have waiting and heard nothing back yet. Good Luck keep us posted. I understand some of what you are going through, I was approved in Feb. and they said 4-6 month wait for a DATE then I heard 8-12 months for a DATE. I called a few times got no response. Then I called and said I need to comfirm information because I was going to self pay in Mexico if it was correct. Then I got a call back the same day!
