AJnSJ 0 Posted May 29, 2013 Hello, I'm going to Stanford for my sleeve in a couple weeks and I was just anxious and nervous about it. It would be great to hear other people's opinions and experiences with Stanford and Dr Rivas.

AJnSJ 0 Posted May 29, 2013 They're supposedly one of the best. I just would like to talk to an actual person who had it done there. What if was like etc. I'm really nervous and I've already backed out once. Trying to hold my nerve and get it over with.

nanaspez 58 Posted May 29, 2013 Thanks Laura! I had my surgery at Stanford with Dr. Morton. Everyone is wonderful there. You will be in good hands! You can pm me if you need any questioned answered. 1 No game reacted to this
henna 3 Posted March 20, 2014 Dr. Morton performed my gastric bypass at Stanford a month ago. He is a great surgeon and I appreciate the entire bariatric team there. I never met Dr. Rivas but I did hear about him. I am pretty sure that he is just as good considering that it is Stanford and all the doctors there are highly reputable. I had a bad heart problem and started treatment with Dr Vagelos in cardiology. He was insisting on me needing a transplant eventually but I worked hard enough to get my heart in better shape and up to par for surgery clearance. If it wasn't for Stanford, I don't think I would even be alive now so don't worry... You are in good hands. Guaranteed.
