No game 14,437 Posted May 29, 2013 UGH. I have faith in us!! We can turn it around. Girl all I know is my family is sitting here eating stuffed pizza and I'm eating a plain Greek yogurt with blueberries... And tomorrow I will weight the same I'm sure... I hit 171 and I stay there or go up a pound or two on a daily basis for a month now.. I'm getting a treadmill on Thursday. Maybe if I just walk all day on it I'll start losing again.. Oliver's Mom 258 Posted May 29, 2013 I'm just days away from my 6 month anniversary of surgery. The weight loss has s l o w e d WAY down, and when I do lose it's .2 or .4. I can feel frustrated at times, because I am exercising and following the food guidelines. I usually drink 9 to 11 8 oz glasses of Water a day, plus some herbal tea and 8 oz of fat free milk a day. I had to do some 'self-talk' and tell myself (repeatedly & usually when I am on or just off the scale!!) that this is a life long journey. If I keep following this way of life, the weight will come off. I feel better than I ever have and that in itself is a great thing. When I walk before dinner with my husband (trying to get him to live a healthier lifestyle) he works to keep up with me. That was not the case prior to the surgery or lifestyle changes. I believe that we will get to our weight goals and along the way we reach other goals, like moving easier, feeling more energetic, wearing smaller clothes, being healthier, getting off medications and feeling so much better about ourselves.
