Nervous and excited :) Dr.'s office just faxed over pulmonary clearance letter today! Nurse says I can get an approval as little as two weeks!

I'm 29, 5'7 and at my initial consult my weighed in at 296lbs but I am now 308. I'm not on my pre op diet, but I have been instructed to substitute a meal w/ a Protein shake and to walk at least 30 mins a day.

I also had knee surgery about 10 wks ago (due to a car accident). My ortho surgeon recommended WLS bc I've had horrible knee and back pain for the several years. I also gained 50lbs since the accident, but before accident I never had any back or knee problems. I would pretty much do any to relieve of this everyday pain.

After all the preliminary testing, I also found out I have sleep apnea and gastritis
