My surgery date is in the morning! Question!

So my sleeve is scheduled for the morning. Well, of course I'm scared. But I have a question. Did you all have to stop your birth control? I talked to the anesthesiologist and he said it was fine for me to keep taking the pill. But I always read that people should stop. I've been taking it everyday since he said it was fine. But I'm getting worried now. Would the pill cause any problems?

I kept taking the pill. If I'm not mistaken, the big risk with the pill is blood clots. So maybe if you're lower risk to begin with, it doesn't matter? Not sure.

I was told DO not stop taking it. I brought it with me to hospital and couldn't take for two days so I had breakthrough bleeding but was instructed to keep taking. Best wishes! Wait til u see what u can do!!!
