twsport 45 Posted May 29, 2013 Yes, it feels good and scary all at once. My father asked me today when I told him, "Tam, are you sure you want to do this? What if you get stomach cancer or something and they have to take out the rest of it?." I was silent for a moment, and then replied with "I will cross that bridge, if and when I come to it. For now I am doing what is good for me and my life, and this is it." I 100% believe that I am making the correct decision and yes, it wont be easy, but who ever said life is suppose to be easy? Purrplelover 48 Posted May 29, 2013 My mom is the same way. She worries Bout the what if's. and I appreciate that, but I currently do not have any co-morbidities. I know if I don't so this I will develop diabetes. My whole family has it. I need to keep these things under control now and not get them while I can.
