mgmccleary 13 Posted May 28, 2013 I'm just wondering if anyone else has had really bad back pain? I'm really feeling ok, still tender but otherwise doing well, but my back is killing me. I'm not sure if I hurt it trying not to hurt my stomach, or just slept on it odd. Just wanted to see if anyone else has had this problems and can shed some light, or just tell me I'm being a big baby and suck it up cupcake!!!! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
kari61 128 Posted May 28, 2013 I had some back pain the first week after surgery as well...I think it was mostly just from the surgery itself and sitting and laying down a lot the first week..After that when I was walking around more and moving more, my back pain subsided. Lisha73 97 Posted May 28, 2013 I am 5 days post op and I would have to say that my back hurts cuz you try to avoid pressure on the belly and sitting in uncomfortable positions too....I too am still sore but each day it is better and better.... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I just assumed it is from sleeping on my back, which I never do, along with the surgery and the way they lay you out on that stretcher!
