babywools 34 Posted May 28, 2013 I travel a lot for work. I have been trying to figure out how to manage the dietary requirements after surgery. Has anyone else had to work around travel? How do you manage the different stages of food?
Sweetcarol238 181 Posted May 28, 2013 I travel a lot for work. I have been trying to figure out how to manage the dietary requirements after surgery. Has anyone else had to work around travel? How do you manage the different stages of food? I travel all the time for work. First trip was out of the country less than 2 months after my WLS. I was lucky because I was just able to start on food and was able to go out with clients for dinner. I still travel all the time and pack my shakes with me. It helps keep me on track for 2 meals since one meal is usually with clients. I have had no iSsues and no longer need a seat belt extender or fly business class for the larger seat. I'm down 125 pounds in 7 months doing this. Good luck.
Ladydawg2009 39 Posted May 28, 2013 The liquid stage is easy Order Soups and only eat the broth. You can even ask for just the broth. softs food the same. For me, baked fish was the best when eating out. After that its all easy. I travel often also, and have had no problems. I usually order form the app menu now. 1 babywools reacted to this
