Old navy compression pants

How do they do with cottage cheese thighs, make it better? Emphasize it? Are they breathable, hot and miserable? I'm going to save them to my want list if they're good.

I have this one pair of calf length yoga leggings that fit so awesome and make me feel like I must look great! Until I saw myself in the mirror, they enhanced every little ripple and crater in my skin

The new ones aren't that great, i think they are really thin and feel like pantyhose. I would go with Underarmour or Nike. Worth every penny. You can find great priced Nike at Penny's some weeks.

I love them! I have several pairs and they allow my skin to breathe. I hate workout pants that feel thick and show sweat spots in the crotch area. They aren't super tight but I don't like my workout pants to feel stiff so it works for me. I feel so slim when I put them on and they come up above the belly button and that's exactly what I need after having 3 kids. I can't wear low rise anything lol. They are fitted but not stiff and if you can do a split these will definitely allow you lol. Oh and I have cottage cheese legs and they look great on me.

Well I don't have Old Navy but I do have Flexees exercise pants...they look like this:

http://www.maidenform.com/shapewear/styles/leggings/flexees-fat-free-dressing-weekender-2140

And at first I didn't wear them. It basically took all my excess skin/fat and pushed it up! Well then I figured out how to combat that. By wearing a Flexees tank like this:

http://www.maidenform.com/shapewear/brands/flexees/flexees-fat-free-dressing-tank-top-3266

And that helps smooth the lumps and bumps. The only thing I don't like about the leggings is I wish they were a tad longer (I'm 5'6") and I always feel like they are a bit on the short side. Other wise I really like them.

The best ever (IMO) are the Marika Tech mid-calf yoga leggings. The waistband is wide and comes all the way up to the navel but the trimming is low around the hips, giving you the best of high-waisted and low-rise :) The thickness of the fabric is perfect, thick enough to smooth everything out and absorb sweat, thin enough to stay sleek and not get in your way or make you overheat (an issue for me). Best ever!!

I work for Old Navy and they are actually having a sale on them right now. They make a thin version and a thicker version. There is a price difference. The grey/pink or the black/pink are some of the better quality ones, so good choice! :)

Ooh thanks. I think I ordered the black real too. The ones w the slit in the back had a review that said they were almost see through. And I took advantage of the sale. :)

Thanks for the tip about them being on sale! I went and bought a pair of capri length, just black. I think the sale has wiped out some of their stock so there was limited options. I'm wearing them right now and really like them!

Yes marika!! It's the only brand that stays up wen I run. They do show some sweat but I sweat a ton so I got over that

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
