Even though you are constantly sipping Water, you still may be dehydrated. Your body is healing, which takes a lot of energy, which requires a lot of Water for the chemical processes. If you are only sipping, you may not be getting enough.

My doctor has a fancy scale that measures body water. Their guidelines say women should be at 45-60% water. Even when drinking enough to be peeing seemingly constantly (not just sipping), and drinking more than the required 64 ounces a day, I still read at 32%, which means I'm still dehydrated! And that was a month after surgery!

Shows how important it is to keep drinking!

It will go away later down the road when you start to eat normal foods again. Keep drinking and count your ounces. Good luck :)
