Dreax33 36 Posted May 27, 2013 So My surgery date is set for June 10th and my 1st day of the preop diet is TODAY ! Had Muscle Milk Light shake for Breakfast Drank 5 glasses of Water Had a small chicken ceased salad w/ light ranch and 1 wheat roll Now couple hours later I'm snacking on steamed green Beans. Thank god I can have unlimited veggies I don't know what to do with myself every time I try to distract myself food comes to mind Lord help me get passed these 2 weeks as quick as possible Anyone experiencing the same at this moment? Pixie Dust 526 Posted May 27, 2013 I know what you mean about you don't know what to do & trying to distract yourself, food comes to mind....it's because our lives revolve around food! I know I'll have the same issue. It's not till after we get sleeved & start losing weight that we'll realize there is more to life than planning everything around food! At least I hope it will be the case for me. I wake up thinking what I'm going to make for dinner for my family & I. I have Breakfast first thing in the morning & then a few hours later I'm having lunch & then a snack at 3-330p & then I'm nibbling on stuff as I'm cooking. I need to start thinking like a skinny person. They do think "differently" than we do, you know! LOL! Good luck to you sweetie...I'll be on that same road as you pretty soon! I just drink a whole lot of Water or a grab a SF Jello or SF ice pop.. Unless its shake time..
