skinnygirlin2013 11 Posted June 11, 2013 Oh I don't think I could have done another 7 days of liquids. I am on soft food for 2 weeks. It is harder then I expected. When you think your eating slow' date=' slow down. That is going to be my thought for this next 2 weeks![/quote'] Good advice. All I think about is what soft foods I'll eat next Tuesday. I'd love to know if you eat anything that doesn't go down well - and if you feel like you have about 3 oz of space down there. My stomach feels a different size morning vs afternoon. Very weird. So far the turkey chili was to much. I have the costco canned chicken breast that I added a touch of mayo and mustard to to ensure that it was moist. I have been working on about 1/4 of a cup for almost an hour. Small bites, lots of time in between, I am about half way done with it. Feeling almost full, but it is settling well! Also, Greek yogurt is a blessing!
Passionbtlife 0 Posted June 17, 2013 I had mine on the 28th too...I am so sick of Protein Shakes, I cannot drink them anymore. I am not a sweet person. Bacon flavored protien shakes and I would be all over that! So I have to work at my Protein intake. I was fluids, 1 week, 2 weeks puree, and now tomorrow I can start soft foods. The juggling of fluids, then no fluids 30 min before and after eating, then eating 6x a day. I feel like this is a part time job sometimes. Not losing weight super fast, so I decided to not go on the scale. I did try oppsies...they are awesome with hummus or pureed meat. I have been juicing for energy. Some drinks I can stand better than others. This is a shift in mind set. All has been pretty good so far.
Laura72 14 Posted July 29, 2013 I was sleeved May 28th, as well. As of today, down 45.6 lbs since surgery and 70.4 since I started in October. Decided to give myself something to look forward to, I signed up for the Warrior Dash in September. I've been having a hard time exercising, so that is my motivation. Although it's been difficult to get the Protein and liquids in each day, I don't regret my decision. Happy sleeving!!
