SICK, STILL SICK, CONTINUE TO BE SICK...SERIOUSLY AM I THE ONLY PERSON ON HERE WHO HAS BEEN SICK ALMOST THE ENTIRE TIME SINCE GETTING SLEEVED?

The point is WLS is approved for anyone with a BMi of 30 and above....no matter what our opinion of it is. BMI of 30 is obese no matter hgt an wgt.

Oh I said that because if you are a body builder calculating bmi is a little different and takes more than just standard bmi calculations...

BUT WE ARE ALL FAT...

Calibri is a font.

Caliber is the American English spelling.

Calibre is the British English spelling (and since they invented the language' date=' I let them spell it as they wish, even with the "u" in "colour" and "favourite", and spelling "theatre" intead of "theater").

AussieLady meant exactly what she typed, since her screen name shows she's from Oz (-stralia, not where Dorothy went with her ruby slippers).

We now return to our regularly-scheduled program of wackdoodlery, shenanigans and hooliganism.[/quote']

Yes. What she said.

I think we will just assume that English is not your thing. That's English Engish, Australian English and American English. It's just way too hard to deal with this any other way. Go to the back of the class LipstickLady.

It's very clear that lipsticklady was being both humorous and sarcastic. Those of you, who couldn't figure that out, show your ignorance and lack of intelligence very blatantly. Though lipstick lady was probably commenting on mine and someone else’s spelling corrections, it sounds like the rest of you have far too much time on your hands. I went and took a nap, come back and see my inbox filled will idiotic replies, and you all thought I was the pain in the A**? Why don’t you look at yourselves? You try to point the finger at me that I didn’t leave it alone, yet you have all carried on like nags beating a dead horse over ill relevant topic.

By the way, this is neither England nor Australia. Isn't Australia where all the convicts were sent, from England, during the 18th and 19th century? (Not saying that's fair or that I agree with it, but if we want to go tit for tat then let's have at it.)

(I am fairly certain everyone has figured out that I am pretty humorous and sarcastic. 'Cept maybe my husband. He's just nice to me because he wants some.)

I'm also pretty, humorous and sarcastic. In case you didn't notice.

;)

LOL I did. I think those other gals are just constipated! Despite that I don't think you agreed with my comments, I was able to see that you were trying to neutralize the situation. J They got way off topic, just to nag. Your comment should probably have been the last one, to the debate. Maybe your babe will be even nicer once you complete your journey and he too has to carry a 45 on his hip!! Fortunately, when I met my husband I was thin, gained after having a botched tubal and developing PCOS and Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome, and other crap. In that pic is my husband and I doing the old western photos in Durango Colorado. We want to dress up again once I’m done.

Yet, if my comment should have been the last, you are still throwing out some personal attacks. ( I'm not too much into those today as I finally poo'd after 15 days. This is a day to Celebrate for me!)

For the record, I am a Martial Arts Instructor. I do the protecting in this house with my wit, personality and one hell of a roundhouse if needed. B)

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
